The Australian Multiple Birth Association (AMBA) is a volunteer, not-for-profit organisation comprising of multiple birth families. Through a tiered membership structure, our organisation provides support, resources and education to multiple birth families.
AMBA is a grass-roots organisation, with membership fees collected at a local club level. Affiliation fees fund state committees and national activities, with the national and state levels existing to assist and guide local clubs and to provide a framework for club activities.
AMBA is an Australian Public Company, registered as a Charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) under ABN 19 088 772 276. We are not entitled to receive tax deductible gifts.
AMBA is fully volunteer run at all three levels; from the national Board, to the State Committees, to each member club serving their local communities across Australia.
- Volunteers who occupy a position on the Board are a vital part of the organisation, and are key to achieving successful national outcomes
- Similarly, State and Territory Committees exist to enable the achievement of AMBA goals and are a key liaison between the Board and member clubs
- Member club committees work independently and focus on delivering programs and services to their respective member families.
