Grief, in its many forms, is one of the most painful experiences that anyone can suffer, and every year it is experienced by thousands of Australian families. Our thoughts and sympathies are with you and your family if your child or children have died.
Professionals should be able to recognise and respond appropriately to bereaved families' varied emotional needs when a child dies or when children are bereaved of someone important in their life; we encourage you to contact your local health professional for additional support.
AMBA offers an Online Forum and a Bereavement Sanctuary – a place where a bereaved family may take great comfort and talk freely with others who have suffered the loss of one or more of their multiples. It is a place for parents to come together and read and/or share their stories about their tragic loss and their journey with grief. The site is strictly password protected.
