9th March - Queensland State Picnic Day - Parklands

34 families (31 sets of twins and 3 sets of triplets) from the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Ipswich braved the morning showers for the AMBA Qld Family Picnic at Roma St Parklands. We had to abandon the parade due to the weather but the beautiful fig tress over the playground gave us some protection from the wind and showers. The balloons were a hit but the strongs winds carried many into the city.We managed to take this photo during a brief bout of sunshine.

Thanks to everyone who made the effort to get out and help us to kick off MBAW.
