Volunteers are the engine that enables the Australian Multiple Birth Association to successfully work towards achieving our vision.

AMBA and its affiliated clubs are successful due to the dedication of our fantastic volunteer team who contribute their time and skills to assist multiple birth families at local, state and national levels. AMBA celebrates the contribution our volunteers make and the AMBA Appreciation Awards are an acknowledgement of outstanding contribution and achievement within the multiple birth community.

THE AMBA Appreciation Awards

The AMBA Appreciation Awards program has been established to acknowledge AMBA members’ valued contributions; introduce dedicated, creative and innovative individuals and clubs to their peers on a national level; promote teamwork; recognise activities that increase the profile of AMBA within local and national communities and promote national affiliation.

NOMINATION AND DECISION PROCESS

The process begins with a worthy candidate being nominated by another person. If you look around your multiple birth community, there are likely various people deserving of an award.

AMBA Appreciation Award nominations are due by 31st of August each year. Please complete 1 nomination form per individual/club, per award type.

The AAA panel carefully reviews every nomination, verifying the nature and quality of the nominee’s contribution. AAA recipients receive their awards at the AMBA Appreciation Awards dinner at the Annual Convention.
