Larissa Jordan
Chairperson
Diamond Valley MBA
Larissa became a member of the Diamond Valley Multiple Birth Association (DVMBA) when she found out she was expecting triplets in 2014. She was very thankful that she made it to their antenatal information night before her children were born prematurely at 26 weeks and 4 days. Larissa joined the DVMBA committee just before her triplets turned one as the Higher Order Multiples Contact. She soon took on other club roles including Grants Coordinator and Events Coordinator before stepping into the role of club President in 2016. Larissa joined the AMBA Board in 2017, and was elected as Chairperson in November 2021. She has also been a member of the Victorian State Committee and enjoyed working with the AMBA Convention Planning Committees in 2017 and 2018.
Larissa has a Bachelor of Primary and Adult Education and Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. She has worked as a Primary Maths Specialist, mentoring teachers across various schools to improve student outcomes in mathematics. Larissa and her husband run a successful building and interior design company where they work on many exciting projects across Victoria. Larissa loves the learning and friendships that have come out of her volunteering roles and looks forward to contributing to the growth of AMBA well into the future.
