Multiple Birth Awareness Week 2015 "T.E.A.M"

Multiple Birth Awareness Week 2015

Sunday 8th March to Sunday 15th March

Multiple Birth Awareness WeekMultiple Birth Awareness Week is a national event held annually to celebrate the joy of parenting multiples and also to educate communities and professionals about the unique challenges of parenting twins, triplets and more.

In 2015 we’re acknowledging the teams that are involved in helping to raise twins, triplets or more and showing how, by working together, we can help families to thrive, not just survive. Making AMBA part of their team can produce real benefits to the mental health and coping skills of parents. Many people are unaware of the mental health benefits of joining a support group; support groups can be a great place to access a community, find services, practical tips, resources and social events with like-minded people.

Multiple Birth Clubs around Australia celebrate MBAW with gusto! Check out the range of events we have planned for this special week in the calendar below.  If there isn't an event list in your area connect with your local AMBA club to find out what they have planned www.amba.org.au/clubfinder.
